UNESA INDÚSTRIA E COMÉRCIO DE MÁQUINAS LTDA, registered under CNPJ No. 05.626.926/0001-00, considers the electronic records and personal data provided by users (“User”) when using its services and digital pages (“Pages”) to be sensitive and relevant. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) aims to regulate, in a simple, transparent, and objective manner, which data and information will be collected, as well as when and for what purposes they may be used, in accordance with Brazilian Law No. 13,709/2018 – the General Data Protection Law (LGPD).
This Policy applies to all Pages related to UNESA, including those available on its official websites, www.unesa.com.br and lp.unesa.com.br, as well as digital forms, landing pages, WhatsApp contact channels, institutional social media, and registrations carried out at industry events and trade fairs. This Policy may be updated at any time by UNESA, upon notice published on its official websites.
I. DATA WE COLLECT
UNESA may collect information actively provided by the User when filling out forms, registrations, or contacting the company, as well as information collected automatically during the use of the Pages and internet browsing, such as IP address with date and time of access, device and browser characteristics, pages accessed, traffic source, and interactions performed. Therefore, two types of personal data are processed: (i) data provided directly by the User; and (ii) data collected automatically.
Information provided directly by the User may include, among others, full name, email address, phone number or WhatsApp, company name or tax ID (CNPJ), city and state, as well as technical information related to industrial production, such as profile type, production line, production volume, and technical requirements. UNESA uses this information for commercial contact purposes, sending proposals and quotations, managing relationships with clients and leads, as well as for institutional marketing actions and digital campaigns.
Automatically, UNESA also collects information related to the User’s browsing, such as IP address, date and time of access, browser type, device used, pages visited, time spent, clicks performed, and traffic source. For this purpose, UNESA uses standard market technologies such as cookies, pixel tags, beacons, and tracking tools, including Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and LinkedIn Insight Tag, in order to improve the User experience and measure results.
The User may disable the automatic collection of information through their internet browser settings. However, the User is aware that disabling these technologies may compromise the proper functioning of certain features of UNESA’s Pages.
II. HOW WE USE THE DATA
The information collected by UNESA is used to establish commercial or contractual relationships, manage, administer, expand, and improve its Pages and services, as well as to adapt its commercial and marketing actions to the preferences and needs of Users.
The collected information may also be used to send institutional and commercial communications related to UNESA’s activities. If the User no longer wishes to receive such communications, they may request to stop receiving them through the company’s contact channels.
The processing of personal data carried out by UNESA is based on the User’s consent, when applicable, the execution of preliminary procedures related to a contract, and the legitimate interest of the data controller, in accordance with applicable legislation.
III. HOW WE USE COOKIES
Cookies are files or information that may be stored on the User’s device when accessing UNESA’s Pages. Generally, a cookie contains the name of the website that generated it, its lifespan, and a value automatically generated.
UNESA uses cookies and similar technologies to facilitate the use of its Pages, improve the browsing experience, compile statistical information about the use of its websites, and measure the performance of campaigns and content.
The User may, at any time, revoke their consent regarding the use of cookies by deleting them through their internet browser settings. Not accepting certain cookies may impact the functioning of some features of UNESA’s Pages.
IV. DATA SHARING
UNESA may share the information collected through its Pages, in a limited and secure manner, in the following cases: (i) with the RD Station CRM platform, for commercial management and relationship with clients and leads; (ii) with advertising platforms such as Meta, Google, and LinkedIn, exclusively for campaign execution and performance measurement; (iii) with authorized commercial representatives, when necessary for regional or technical support; (iv) to protect UNESA’s interests in any type of dispute; or (v) by court order or request from a competent authority.
V. HOW WE KEEP DATA SECURE
UNESA stores the collected information on its own or contracted servers and adopts reasonable technical and administrative measures to preserve the security and confidentiality of personal data, including restricted access control, system protection, and confidentiality commitments by authorized personnel.
Despite these efforts, the User acknowledges that no digital environment is completely secure and that UNESA cannot fully guarantee the inviolability of information.
VI. DATA RETENTION
The information collected by UNESA will be retained only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by legal and regulatory obligations. The User may request the deletion of their personal data at any time, subject to legally required minimum retention periods.
VII. YOUR RIGHTS
In compliance with applicable legislation, UNESA guarantees the User the right to request confirmation of data processing, access to data, correction of incomplete or outdated information, anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data, data portability, revocation of consent, and information about any data sharing carried out.
VIII. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This Policy shall be governed, interpreted, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, especially Law No. 13,709/2018, and the courts of the User’s place of residence shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes arising from this document.
