This includes the global debut of the Volkswagen Nivus, set to launch on May 28th.

Developed specifically in Brazil for our market, the Volkswagen Nivus has been so successful that it will be sold in Europe starting in 2021. However, the priority remains with the Brazilian market, where the world premiere of the SUV coupe will be streamed live on May 28th through iCarros, with complete coverage.

Due to the necessary social distancing measures in place because of the coronavirus pandemic, Volkswagen decided to follow in the footsteps of Chevrolet and launch the Nivus online through a streaming platform. The official in-store launch of the Volkswagen Nivus, however, does not yet have a confirmed date.

Technologies
The Volkswagen Nivus will come equipped with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), which can brake and accelerate automatically based on the distance to the car in front. Additionally, it will feature autonomous emergency braking. These features are not yet available on the T-Cross, which is larger and more expensive than the Nivus.
